About the Artist

I’m a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and educator with a deep love for making — and for helping others discover the joy of creating. With degrees in Industrial Design and Metal and Jewelry Design, I’ve spent over a decade exploring how form, function, and feeling intersect. Whether I’m working in metal, clay, or paint, I see each piece as a way to connect with something deeper — a story, a memory, a moment of magic.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe that the ability to create is not reserved for a select few — it is a skill that anyone can develop with time, guidance, and practice. While creativity often feels intuitive, strong design is grounded in knowledge. Understanding the principles and theories of composition helps students make intentional choices and see their work with new eyes. It gives structure to expression and connects us to something deeply human — our innate sense of beauty, balance, and meaning.

In my classroom, I strive to demystify the creative process. I want students to feel empowered, not intimidated, by the idea of making art. Mistakes are not setbacks but opportunities for learning. I often remind my students that the insights gained through failure are just as valuable as those that come from success. By fostering curiosity, encouraging experimentation, and removing the fear of being “wrong,” I help students develop not only their technical skills, but their confidence and creative voice.

At the heart of my teaching is the belief that when students understand the "why" behind what they’re doing — the theory, the structure, the history — they begin to understand themselves, their choices, and the world around them more deeply.
